while we look for your profile.
OpenProfiles checks the public exposure of an email or handle you provide. Audit results stay ephemeral unless you verify an email account and explicitly save an owner-controlled record.
External processing
After consent, the identifier is sent to the sources this deployment calls — OpenAI and Anthropic for public-web research, and Apollo for email matching where the identifier is an email address. Each source stays a separate evidence layer, and the result names every one that was called and every one that was not.
Optional account storage
Unsigned audits are not saved by the Codex audit service. After one-time email verification, you may explicitly save up to 20 audit snapshots, corrections, additions, and source-request status in the OpenProfiles server record for cross-device access.
Excluded information
The audit is restricted from seeking or displaying passwords, breach data, personal phone numbers, home addresses, family details, or protected traits.
Owner profile controls
Local changes work without an account. Email verification is required before cross-device saving, publishing agent-readable JSON, or sending a source-operator email. Email profiles must match the verified sign-in address; handle ownership remains labeled unconfirmed.
Correction and removal
OpenProfiles keeps the original provider value traceable, stores draft/submitted/confirmed request states, and never calls a source corrected merely because an email was sent. You can unpublish or permanently delete the entire saved owner profile.
Abuse controls
Repeated lookup and sign-in requests are rate-limited. Public records exist only after the verified account explicitly publishes them, and personal phone numbers, home addresses, breach data, and protected traits are excluded.
AI research can be wrong. Agreement between models or a matching handle is not proof of identity. Always inspect the linked source yourself.
